Monthly Archives: February 2011

Hello Mum,

Just wanted to drop you a line whilst you are travelling to the new place.

We are all really sad that you had to leave us on Wednesday and the pain of losing you is all consuming. Yet we do understand that you were very tired and that you felt it was time to start your journey,

April 2009

Take three girls

I am missing our cosy chats, especially today as we normally shared chocolate aero bubbles on a Friday whilst we watched the afternoon film on Channel 5. By the way, to amuse you whilst you are travelling, I am sending a photo of your 87th birthday. We’ve also been sorting through other photos so will send more soon.

I know you are not the sort of person who likes flowery words or sentiment but I feel moved to tell you that you are the most beautiful person that I have ever met. Your kindness and compassion touches everyone who is lucky enough to meet you. You are a true gentle lady with a caring sense of humour and that mischievous twinkle in your eye when you tell a borderline/risqué story makes time in your company a delight,

Of course I do know that you have never been that fond of computers but I hope that somehow this message will get to you, so that you know we are all thinking of you.

Everything is OK here. The weather is a bit cold and damp, but still, it is only February. Spring is just around the corner,

Will write again soon

Love & xxx

Compact Cooking

This is the camp kitchen but it has nothing to do with John Inman, Larry Grayson or Kenneth Williams
